He is a: • Veteran civil rights advocate and organizer (CORE, Friends of SNCC, Revolutionary Action Movement, Universal Negro Improvement Association, The Organization of Young West Indians, ACT for Freedom, the Afro-American Student Association, and others). • Founding member of the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party and organizer in Washington DC, North Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee and Florida. • In conjunction with the American Indian Movement, led a delegation of 300 people to Libya in the “Give Peace a Chance” gathering in Tripoli in 1987. • Co-Editor of Pan-African Roots newspaper. Published in newspapers, blogs and websites all over the world. • Community organizer for many events and campaigns, including labor unions, student organizations, national and international advocacy groups including the Million Man March, • Has lived and worked in many nations, including Guinea, South Africa, Guinea-Bissau, Aruba, Curacao, Jamaica, US Virgin Islands, Canada, Brazil, Bolivia, Venezuela, Cuba, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, the United Kingdom, France and Italy. • Developed a specialty in analyzing the progressive and revolutionary struggles in South & Central America and the Caribbean, especially the Cuban Revolution, ALBA and the African Descendants.
