About African Diaspora International Film Festival

African Diaspora International Film Festival The African Diaspora International Film Festival (ADIFF) is a minorityled notfor profit international film festival that presents, interprets and educates about films that explore the human experience of people of color all over the world in order to inspire imaginations, disrupt stereotypes and help transform attitudes that perpetuate injustice. Established in 1993, (ADIFF) is an international film festival that offers a unique quality cinematic experience that places at its center the humanity of people of color all over the world. Through its rich and diverse programming, ADIFF offers an alternative worldview to that typically offered by other international film festivals. ADIFF’s programming encourages its audience to explore and reflect upon their own perceptions of the humanity of people of color from South Africa to Colombia and from Jamaica to Canada. ADIFF is now held in New York City, Chicago, Washington DC, and Paris, France. ADIFF is produced by ArtMattan Productions, a company dedicated to the promotion of cultures from Africa and its diaspora. ArtMattan Productions holds a library of more than 100 films by and about people from Africa and its diaspora all over the world.
