Flavia Nicole Abdurahman In 2012, after over 10+ years in the field, filming communities affected by long-time conflict, I was inspired to set up PeacebuildingTV (PBTV), an Australian non-profit organisation, which trains diaspora, at the community level, in peace-building. PBTV offers an introductory toolkit to build the capacity of those inside their communities, who have found themselves, for various reasons, as informal inside mediators in their communities. I am a former student of Dr Johan Galtung & subscribe to his approaches to non-violent conflict resolution. These principles underlie my curriculum.
