Maria Teverovsky Mission
Guided by humanitarian and human rights values, US Together assists refugees and immigrants escaping wars, violence, tyranny, and extreme poverty to find safety haven in the US. We facilitate their resettlement and social and economic integration;advocate on their behalf; and help them build vibrant communities.
US Together was founded in 2003 by two refugee women, and it is now a leading provider of refugee –focused services. As an affiliate of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, we are bringing most vulnerable refugees to the safety in Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo, Ohio. We are also in the process of opening new office in New York. UST is devoted to the world refugee cause and is determined to help refugees resettle successfully in the US. Our clients come from many African nations, South/Central Asia, Middle East, Vietnam, Cuba, and Former Soviet Union. We provide essential refugee resettlement services such as housing, employment, health care and public education access. Our renowned refugee empowerment and life skills education programs provide financial literacy education, refugee women empowerment, citizenship/civic education classes and naturalization services.
