Donegal Diaspora Project The Donegal Diaspora project has been set up to reach out and engage with County Donegals global community, its “Pobal Domhanda”. This network is made up of people with a connection to Donegal, no matter where they may be living. . Aims of the Project This website will act as the centrepoint of all information and networks. Our aim is to promote Donegal, encouraging inward investment to the county. Key areas we will focus on are: education, heritage, culture, tourism, business and enterprise. History of the Project Donegal County Council Community and Enterprise Section are delighted to be delivering The Donegal Diaspora Project. Our Donegal Diaspora is defined in the County Strategy ‘An Strateis’ as the community of Donegal living in the County as well as those with a connection to, or interest in Donegal – no matter where they live.
