Our Mission: Sustainable Development and Biodiversity Organization (SDBO) works for sustainable management of natural resources and equitable sharing of benefits arising from its valuation. We provide support to communities through promotion of green income activities. Our Objectives: SDBO is nonprofit organization dedicated to research and biodiversity conservation through: • Action-research on biodiversity conservation with focus on Primates; • Design and implementation of natural resources management projects; • Capacity building and training. Our Main Activities: • Research on the ecology and diversity of primate species in the Dahomey Gap (Benin and Togo); • Conservation of community forests with high involvement of local populations; • Promotion of green incomes activities; • Capacity building and training; • Education and outreach targeted to primary and secondary schools for biodiversity conservation; • Ecotourism.
