Joshua Abraham Megson ENGAI YOUTH GROUP TANZANIA(EYGT) Engai Youth Group Tanzania(EYGT) is a group of young people , which was established to help the Youths in the community in a number of ways for them to become independent and responsible citizens capable of finding employment or starting their own businesses,farming and entrepreneurship training programs in Agribusiness and life skills education for young innovators . The group was legally registered in February 2012,given number 232443 under the law act of the United Republic of Tanzania. VISION: To become the leading youth group that provides entrepreneurship trainings for sustainable change in Tanzania. MISSION: To build the good foundation among youth for their bright future. CORE VALUES: 1. Transparency and Honesty 2. Co-operation 3. Peace and Love 4. Respecting each other 5. Respecting time expected 6. No discrimination of any kind 7. Integrity(wisdom) TARGET GROUP: Our target group is all Tanzanian youth aged between 15 – 30 years old. GOALS: 1. To provide entrepreneurship training and peer education Activities 1) To provide HIV/AIDS Counseling & test. 2) To provide drug abuse training in order to eliminate the number of addicted users. 3) To educate local tribes the defects of Circumcision for women. 4) To provide sexual education for Young women ,the problems of early sexual behavior 5) To educate Youth about keeping of their properties & Natural Resources. 6) Environmental Conservation ( House Planting Program)-YOUNG GREEN REVOLUTION TEAM 7) To provide Entrepreneurship training skills(Identification of opportunity and handle ring, Financial Setup, Business Planning, Marketing Procedure) 8) To provide practical training on:- (i) Cultural dresses Making (ii) Oyster Mushroom Cultivation (iii) Soap making. (iv) Skin belt, shoes making (v) Handmade art (Baskets) ( V) Chalk making, painting (vi) Hand crafts industry, African cultural Utensil The managrement team The EYGT team are well organized and democratically elected members from the top to lower levels of the implementation team. The EYGT membership is free for every young person from the age of 15 to 30 , In God we Trust
