About Yéréfolo Mallé
Yéréfolo Mallé Yéréfolo began his development career by organizing market gardeners in associations and supporting them with seeds and infrastructures. This emphasis on working with market gardeners and communities continued as he moved from field positions to projects at the cluster level, then at the national and regional levels. His expertise not only includes economic strengthening, but is complemented by experience in water and sanitation and the implementation of social policies, including those focused on safety nets and food security. He has also participated in several transnational and pan-African initiatives. Over the years, Yéréfolo has worked with a variety of stakeholders at all levels, from community farmers to local government officials, national ministries and regional technical bodies. He also has extensive experience working with non-governmental organizations at community level, at national level and with international organizations, notably Water and Sanitation for Africa (WSA), WaterAid, Save the Children UK, Africare and GRAT (Groupe Research and Technical Applications). Yéréfolo MALLE is an Engineer in the field of rural development with a specialization in veterinary sciences from the Polytechnic Rural Institute of Katibougou in Mali. He holds a Masters in innovation, development and society from the International Institute for Water and Environment Engineering (2IE) based in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
