About Lionel Mike Ncube
Lionel Mike Ncube I am a Bachelor of Social Science in Development Studies Honors Degree recent graduate from Catholic University of Zimbabwe. My ultimate goals as a Development Practitioner are to be far from where I started from through hard working and determination in my career path. It is my desire to go through my life with my eyes wide open, and always looking for new ways to improve my outlook and my experience of being a professional.
Apart from that, I always speak with confidence and conviction and I have a strong sense of confidence in what I do and this makes me to be wonderfully predisposed to helping others find their way, too.Additionally, I am looking for new opportunities to further my studies through masters and PhD levels through Research. I believe education is the only key that I can use to improve my community and the world at large.
Furthermore, I am a hard-working recent university graduate with a B.Sc. in Development Studies Honors degree. I seek to become a Development Practitioner who touches and changes people’s lives positively at the highest level achievable in my career path and bring answers to some burning issues that the world is willing to figure out.
Basically, some of my key attubutes include; I am a team player, self motivated and hardworking (task oriented), attention to detail, innovative, self driven (less supervision), time conscious, goal getter, eager to learn, mature and focused. As for my professional qualifications, I studied Bachelor of Social Sciences in Development Studies Honors Degree at the Catholic University of Zimbabwe from 2016-2020.
Above all, as human beings I understand that we all wish there were things we had never done and we all wish that there were decisions we did not make and mistakes we did not make, but what I learnt as a Development Practitioner is that every mistake that I made and every bad decision I made everything I was making myself feel guilty for actually led to me getting a better person and it led to me being confident in my professional path.
Apart from that, considering, the Development studies as being multifaceted, multidimensional and multidisciplinary program, it is my desire to pursue my studies emanating from any of these disciplines. I am flexible to work in social dimension, political dimension, environmental dimension, economic dimension and philosophical dimension because the originality of all those dimensions emanating from may lead to Development as their destination.
In short, there are lot of unanswered questions in Africa that are leading to most of these states remain underdeveloped. Given the opportunity, I'm a willing to do the researches that may help in answering some of this questions. There are lots of debates emanating from the four corners of the world concerning the underdevelopment of Africa where others are blaming African politics and others are blaming the mentality of Africans towards their former colonial masters. I am willing to do researches on that so as to help Africa with an awareness and able to define its own pathway of Development..
