Hunger Reduction International Hunger Reduction International (HRI) is a humanitarian relief and development organization working towards the alleviation of systemic hunger in all its forms in Somali communities. HRI works in partnership and collaboration with local communities to develop holistic and sustainable solutions for alleviating local calorific inequities and malnutrition. Due to the multidimensional nature of hunger, our remit covers the redressal of gender inequality in Somali communities as well. Our focus on the twin areas of food security and gender equality at a local level allows us to present indigent communities with a pathway out of poverty. We are in in need of engaging diaspora experts to help us improve and build our organizations capacity
