About CrowdJustice (The leading crowdfunding platform for legal action)
CrowdJustice, Crowd Justice CrowdJustice (The leading crowdfunding platform for legal action) CrowdJustice was founded to increase access to the legal system. Our team of lawyers, campaigners and technologists is inspired by the stories people share on our platform and strives to provide a space in which everyone can engage with important legal issues.
Julia Salasky, CEO/Founder
A former litigator, Julia has worked as a lawyer at Linklaters, a legal aid clinic and the United Nations. She was named "a future shaper" by Marie Claire magazine, one of Debretts most influential people in law, and an industry leader in litigation finance by Law.com.
Jo Sidhu, Legal Partnerships
Jo joined CrowdJustice from the international law firm, Ashurst. She received her law degree from Oxford University. Jo believes the legal community should work to increase access to the courts and engagement with the law itself.
Elliot Fry, Marketing
Prior to joining CrowdJustice, Elliot worked in high-growth startups in London and San Francisco. He talks way too much about politics and how technological change is impacting our lives.
Gavin Clark, Engineering
Gavin was Head of Engineering at RolePoint and held engineering roles at Blackwell Learning and Specialmoves. He's passionate about advancing the benefits of technology to all – not just the powerful few.
Maeve Storey, Operations and Support
Maeve read history at Trinity College Dublin, and has a masters in journalism from the Dublin Institute of Technology. She's worked in senior community and operations roles at different tech companies and well before she joined CrowdJustice was a major ambassador of (and backer to) cases on the platform.
Matthew Bethell, Campaigns
Matthew has worked in the US and UK campaigning for political candidates, elected officials and non-profits. He recently ran communications for a renewable energy startup, after serving as an advisor to David Lammy MP. Matthew studied at Cambridge and Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs.
Madeleine Oldham, Community Outreach
Madeleine is a recent graduate of King's College London. After spending the last few years working to widen participation in higher education, she has become an ardent proponent of ensuring the justice system is more inclusive.
Chris Green, Engineering
Chris studied Computer Science at the University of Birmingham, graduating to join the defense industry, realised what he'd done, then left to join CrowdJustice. Having worked with almost every level of the stack, from researching embedded firmware to building auth systems, he's not sure how he ended up a python developer, but he's happy about it.
