Global Health Partnership Initiative Global Health Partnership Initiative Our first initiative: Guatemala Based on a variety of factors including the presence of potential in-country partners and the prevalence of high unmet basic health needs, we selected Guatemala as the first country to explore and develop how we might make a meaningful contribution to improving the health of the poor and vulnerable. In Guatemala, we focused our development efforts in the municipality of San Martin Sacatepéquez, in the Department of Quetzaltenango, in the Western Highlands.
