Triangle Area Asanteman Kuo (TAAK) is an Association of the sons and daughters of Ghanaian descent and loyalists of Ghana cultural resident in the Triangle Area of North Carolina, being aware of our cultural heritage and dedication to uniting Ghanaians and other nationalities; promoting interest in Ghanaian culture in pursuit of happiness, socio-economic progress and peace with all people

If you are in the Triangle area, we would love to have you join us. The Association meets once a month on the second Sunday at either in Raleigh or Durham at 4pm -6pm
You are welcome to join us during our meetings to find out if this may be an association for you and your family
Our Goals:
Promote social, moral, educational and general welfare of members
Provide a source of cultural enrichment, promote interest in and educate the general community about our culture
Instill and inculcate in the youth, love and pride in our traditional values and cultural heritage
Provide networking and social support for members
Organize periodic workshops to educate members on pertinent issues including our culture and traditions; legal, immigration, employment matters as well as health, insurance and financial, investment issues
Project a good image of Ghanaians in the Triangle Area of North Carolina
Develop linkage to and network with other African ethnic groups participating in organized intercultural exchange programs
Engage and contribute to community development in the triangle Area of North Carolina by performing voluntary services

The president of Triangle Area Asanteman Kuo (TAAK) wishes to welcome all people who come to this site and expresses his gratitude to everyone. TAAK has a long and proud tradition of educating the youth and members of its African heritage. We have over one hundred members with various goals and aims of working on projects that will impact across here (USA) and back home (GHANA). The team in the president’s Office is responsible for providing directions to ensure that the association continues to deliver its vision, and achieve the targets set out in our goals.
