About World Leadership Alliance-Club

World Leadership Alliance-Club World Leadership Alliance-Club The world’s largest forum of former democratic Presidents and Prime Ministers. Mission - Democracy that delivers We, the members of the World Leadership Alliance-Club de Madrid, are all democratic former presidents and prime ministers from around the world. Since we are no longer in office, we now represent our personal leadership experience and commitment and not our countries or parties, and we are therefore freer to share our experiences while still keenly aware of the pressures and problems faced by today’s leaders. Through the World Leadership Alliance-Club de Madrid we partner with governments, inter-governmental organizations, civil society, scholars and the business world, building bridges between them and current leaders and policy makers and encouraging dialogue to foster social and political change. Through the World Leadership Alliance-Club de Madrid we make ourselves available to address issues of national democratic government, transnational governance and collective action on issues of the global commons Through thematic and regional programs, in-country initiatives, with direct engagement with sitting leaders and participation in international fora, workshops and debates, we use our experience, expertise and convening power to foster democratic development. We believe we can be instrumental in bringing change for institutional strengthening, development and the wellbeing of citizens. We are always eager to partner with others and receive support from third parties that share our goals and principles.
