Shalupe Foundation, congo diaspora Shalupe Foundation Shalupe Foundation is a high impact 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides education and empowerment opportunities to women and young girls in the Democratic Republic of the Congo while advocating for peace and security at the local, regional, national, and international levels. Our mission is to empower vulnerable women and children in the DRC to reach their full potential by providing them with education and employment opportunities, job training, and access to healthcare. Our holistic programs help build strong communities led by strong women - and pave the way for long-term poverty alleviation. Furthermore, in Special Consultative Status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council, Shalupe Foundation advocates for peace and justice in the DRC at the local, regional, and international levels, bringing attention to the crisis in the Congo and sparking much-needed action.
