British Pakistan Foundation, BPF, Pakistan diaspora British Pakistan Foundation (BPF) The British Pakistan Foundation (BPF) was established in 2010 to act as a key facilitator and intermediary between the British Pakistani diaspora and governmental and non-governmental organisations in the UK and Pakistan. The British Pakistani community has historically played a significant role in supporting progress and development in the UK and in Pakistan though various economic, philanthropic and social contributions. At BPF, we are committed to facilitating and showcasing the contributions of the British Pakistani diaspora, and providing a platform for community building and empowerment. Our Mission BPF is a not-for-profit, community-driven organisation dedicated to the empowerment and development of the British Pakistani diaspora. BPF aims to provide a platform for community building, and to act as a liaison between the British Pakistani diaspora and governmental and non-governmental organisations in the UK and Pakistan. At BPF, we strive to create a space to enhance inter-community relations and to deliver value to our members through capacity building and information sharing. Our Work BPF is involved in a range of diverse activities, from supporting British Pakistani businesses to promoting British Pakistani and Pakistani culture and heritage, and providing relevant news and resources to help the diaspora. Cultural BPF hosts a range of events and supports third parties in promoting and celebrating British Pakistani and Pakistani heritage and culture. Previous BPF events include gala dinners, fashion shows and musical evenings. Business Development BPF supports British Pakistani businesses and facilitates trade and business through our Business and Professionals Club. Women’s Empowerment The BPF Women’s Network is dedicated to the empowerment and support of British Pakistani women. Youth BPF’s Youth Network offers the support, resources and networking opportunities to enable the personal and professional development of British Pakistani young people. Capacity Building BPF’s Knowledge Portal, website, monthly newsletters and social media platforms have relevant news, information and resources to help inform, empower and engage with the British Pakistani diaspora. Engagement and Outreach BPF is actively working to connect with community-based organisations and to develop a network of strategic partnerships to better serve the British Pakistani community
