Tanzania Diaspora Initiative (T-Diaspora), founded in 2012, is the organization sought at organizing the Tanzanian diaspora to effectively assist in the social and economic development of Tanzania and Tanzanians throughout the world. Objectives Serve as a bridge between the diaspora and the Tanzanian government working closely with diaspora desk in all government agencies. Liaise with relevant private, governmental, and non-governmental organizations on behalf of members. Prepare, organize and disseminate relevant information via all available mediums on development, investment, volunteer opportunities and all means of engagement. Development and Facilitation of a mechanism for Diaspora Remittances. Assist members facing housing challenges as part of the relocation process. In line with the new National Housing Scheme the Initiative will work alongside the relevant government bodies as an advocate for its members.
