About Association of Nigerians in Belgium

Association of Nigerians in Belgium Association of Nigerians in Belgium Brief History: The Association of Nigerians, Belgium (ANB) was founded in 1993 with the aim of bringing migrants of Nigerian descent who are resident in Belgium and their various groups under one unified umbrella. The ANB has its secretariat in Brussels, with regional coordination points in the five provinces in the Flanders. It is currently setting up its first regional coordination point in the Wallons at Li?ge. These organizations include socio-cultural associations, Nigerian ethnic unions, religious groups, gender associations and clubs. The ANB is a member of the Federation of Anglophone African Organisations in Belgium (FAAB). Goal: First of all, we would like to make the topics mentioned above discussable within the English-speaking African community. Further, we attempt to inform the community about these subjects and make them aware of existing social services that provide appropriate aid. With this project we also strive to sensitise and inform the aid services about working with the target group
