Toronto Daugavas Vanagu Dance Group "Daugavia" Toronto Daugavas Vanagu Dance Group "Daugavia The Toronto Daugavas Vanagu Dance Group "Daugavi?a" was founded in March of 1971 by Ed Kalvins. Ed, the author of many new choreographies, led the group until 1997. ?Daugavina? is a youth dance group with participants between the ages of 12 to 40 years of age. The group has performed in many international events, as well as Latvian Song and Dance Festivals in the U.S., Canada, Sweden and Latvia. Every year, the group takes part in several shows at the Latvian Centre as well as in Sidrabene and anywhere else in the world, where Latvian Song and Dance Celebrations are being held!
