Silicon Valley East African Diaspora Project Silicon Valley East African Diaspora Project The Silicon Valley East African Diaspora Project profiles the narratives of the newest East African immigrant groups to Silicon Valley:? Eritrean, Ethiopian, Kenyan, Somali, South Sudanese and Sudanese immigrant families.? Unlike earlier African diaspora groups (West, North, South Africans and African-Americans), there is little documentation of their immigrant stories, challenges, and contributions to our democracy or our region.? We welcome the entire community to visit our exhibits and, in the future, if funds are available, we would like to expand the project to the entire Silicon Valley African diaspora.?
