Karnataka Association of Canberra Karnataka Association of Canberra Welcome to Karnataka Association of Canberra (KAC) an association of Canberra residents hailing from the Kannada speaking state of Karnataka in India. The association has people from other parts of India who are interested in Karnataka as members. The aim of our association is to promote, preserve and maintain the cultural and linguistic heritage of Karnataka, to foster the interests of Kannadigas, and to enrich the diverse cultural mosaic of Australia with the best of Indian traditions. Currently, the association celebrates Indian festivities and hosts several picnics and outings throughout the year. Our signature event is the Cultural Day in February/March every year when all families come together to present a wholesome entertain programme.
