Welcome to Match – How it works!

We know that you joined DiasporaEngager, because you have a specific need or interest. DiasporaEngager is dedicated to helping you find what you are looking for.

Match is a cool way to help you find things, people, organizations, and opportunities you are interested in.

If you can remember, when you were registering, we asked you about your Match preferences. We will use those data to help you find people, organizations, and opportunities that match what you told us you were looking for.

We do that by scanning our database and using some algorithms to search for individuals, organizations, and opportunities that you may be interested in.  Then, we load those information on your Match pages.  When you come to that page, you can review what we think you may like.

“Mutual Matches” is related to results that match what you said you are looking for. Whereas “Reverse Matches” is based on people who are looking for you but that you are not necessary looking for.

To see the matches we have found for you, click on the menu “Match”. If you find anybody that interest you, contact them and engage with them.

Not seeing anything on your match page does not mean that nobody/nothing in our database matches you. To conduct your search and decide for yourself, please click on search menu and do your own search.

For any questions, please feel free to contact us anytime.

Thank you for your interest in DiasporaEngager.

All the best,

The DiasporaEngager Team
