Hello from the DiasporaEngager Staff,

We know that you joined DiasporaEngager, because you have a specific need or interest. DiasporaEngager is dedicated to helping you find what you are looking for.

Match is a cool way to help you find things, people, organizations, and opportunities you are interested in.

If you can remember, when you were registering, we asked you about your match preferences. We will use those data to help you find people, organizations, and opportunities that match what you told us you were looking for.

We do that by scanning our database and using some algorithms to search for individuals, organizations, and opportunities that you may be interested in.  Then, we load the information on your Match page (located on the “Match” navigation bar that you see from your dashboard).  When you come to that page, you can review what we think you may like.

To see if we have found any match for you, please log into your account and on the navigation menu, please click on “match”.

If during the registration, you did not understand what “match preferences” meant, it is not too late to fix that. To update your match preferences so that you can start getting more matches right into your mail box, please log into your account, then go to “My account”. Scroll down and you will see at the bottom of the Account page, the “Match Details”. Update your selection, and click on “Save”. That’s it!

To learn more about how “Match” works, please log into your account and click on “Match” and then select “How it works?”

For any questions, please feel free to contact us anytime.

Thank you for your interest in DiasporaEngager!

All the best,

The DiasporaEngager Team
