It is a mysterious place until you get here. But once you get here , you may be pleasantly surprised to have your imaginations about top end and the lifestyle proven to be wrong. This is a tropical city of warm weather and warm hearted people. Many people feel that Darwin weather is much similar to Kerala in terms of weather. There are about 300 Malayaleei families in Darwin and the number is increasing due to more Malayalees migrating from European countries and from Kerala. Also with its booming local economy, it is a place that has plenty to offer. We welcome the support and participation of all new migrants for our association?s causes. Whether you are moving toDarwin or just browsing as casual visitor, we hope you may find the information on this website useful and interesting. Our mission is to further promote the interests of our organization and our members to the community. We strive to make a difference by educating the public and expanding our reach. Today Malayalee community is one of the fast growing community in Darwin due to many migrants arriving from UK, Ireland and other parts of the world. Most of our members are from medical services, which is a very demanding industry. In social services also there is a significant number of Malayalees working for welfare agencies and govt initiatives.
