MISSION
To expose and encourage people of African ancestry to witness, experience, participate and enjoy the ancient oceanic activity of surfing throughout the oceans and seas of the world. And, with this exposure and participation, the BSA will demonstrate, educate, and help to implement aquatic skills, ecological awareness and activism, and overall athleticism. Ultimately, it is the BSA’s goal to expose and advance the sport and activities of wave-riding in the Black communities while generating well-being, harmony, and heightened awareness amongst surfing individuals, clubs, organizations, businesses, and related media interest groups. We also encourage and support our members to compete and represent Black people and the Black Surfing Association with good sportsmanlike conduct and ethnic ambassatorism. |
